Every attendee of any Advanced Dental Institute course is responsible for finding out and interpreting the dental board laws related to Botox/Fillers in their own respective states. As a courtesy to out of state doctors, we are happy to provide our own understanding of their state policy as it relates to our course and our interpretation of their state regulations.
What this means:
Botox and Fillers can be administered by a licensed general dentist as long as these treatments are within the scope of dentistry, which the act defines to includes the stomatognathic system which includes TMJ. This is exactly the best reason to take our course because this course is designed to teach attendees how to implement Botox and fillers into a bonafide dental treatment plan. We teach attendees how to incorporate these treatments within dentistry, from product selection to charting to injecting. Specifically, TMJ treatment involves temporalis, corrugator and masseter muscles and those are the muscles we teach you to inject. As for fillers, we teach you the charting techniques and what to look for in being able to incorporate them into dentistry as well.
We hope this helps and look forward to helping you incorporate this much needed and lucrative treatment option into your office if you feel it's right for you.

There are several variables to consider when treating patients with Botox and/or Dermal Fillers; however, the average revenue you expect from a vial of Botox/Xeomin is anywhere from $1000 - $1500 profit and with fillers, you can charge the patient double, to triple what your cost is – all within a 15 min visit with your patient. Also, it should be denoted the overhead is very minimal since most of the supplies you already have in-office and you are paying for the cost of the product.
